Nordstrom never fails to be one of my all-time favorite stores to shop at, and I was very fortunate enough to also be hired here as my very first job! The reason why I love Nordstrom for all things fashion is because they have just about everything, from work clothes, to accessories without seeming to fall short on quality.
Nordstrom is known to be a department store that curates their clothes and merchandise every season. Nordstrom really strives for quality, as they genuinely stand by believing the customer deserves the best quality. Nordstrom is surprisingly competitors with Macy’s, but one of the big reasons why Nordstrom is more popular, falls into the whole realm of being understanding towards their customers and the inability to return clothes within thirty days. If for whatever reason, Nordstrom purchases do not work out–customers can return the merchandise at any day, any time. Additionally, Nordstrom will take clothes even if the tag falls off or if there’s a missing receipt! Nordstrom understands that customers are often busy, working people–so its up to Nordstrom to have these alternative solutions to making sure customers leave happy, and with exactly what they’re looking for. Additionally, Nordstrom is first to jump on selling the hottest, trendiest items–so people are undoubtedly going to turn to Nordstrom in that regard, especially when they offer free 3-8 day shipping.
Nordstrom really emphasizes on being inclusive in the realm of fashion! Nordstrom was one of the first department stores to start carrying the UK brand, TopShop in their United States stores and spreading awareness of the brand. Additionally, Nordstrom has really done their research of seeing what’s popular amongst different age groups and adding them to the store. This includes Brandy Melville, Alo Yoga, and even the hype Nike sneakers. Nordstrom wants to really become a family, “all fashions welcome” store, ultimately making it a fun experience for all family members and friends to shop.
Nordstrom carries practically everything you need for yourself and is a great place to purchase gifts–as they offer free wrapping! Nordstrom uses classy silver boxes with bows, and really makes a statement for those receiving the gifts. At Nordstrom you can find all the accessories, shoes, clothes, work attire, gowns, suits, furniture, maternity clothes, baby clothes, kids clothes, baby gifts, toys–the list goes on! With Nordstrom paying careful attention to what they curate, it is no surprise when Nordstrom actually gets more sales than they do returns.
All in all, I highly recommend Nordstrom as they really are customer-obsessed, and it was an incredible experience working there. Being surrounded by the trendiest, well-made clothes in addition to learning about making sales was an unforgettable experience. I will most definitely continue shopping there not only for their amazing clothing selection, but knowing that I’m in good hands with the associates and general Nordstrom employees.
