Mallory’s Favorite Stores

Here is a list of my favorite retail stores. I felt like these were worth sharing, considering the fact I get a lot of questions of where I get most of my tops, bottoms, shoes, and accessories. I decided to not include any thrift stores, mainly because I know people are probably hesitant about going to them right after shelter-in-place is removed. That being said, all of these stores listed are available for online ordering, and I find these stores reputable and good quality.

In terms of why I like these stores and why they are so drastically different from each other, it all stems from my love of variation. I like to change my style, depending on what mood I am in. I know lots of fashionistas might align with only one specific style, like the “grunge” side of fashion, with flannels, Doc Martens, and band t-shirts; or boho chic with the cable knits, wide brimmed sunhats, and sundresses. However, I genuinely love a lot of variation! I love lots of dark colors for when I need to dress up for events–but I also love whites, pinks, and various shades of red. When I’m feeling especially cheerful, I love t-shirts with bright colored flowers on them–to fun, springtime skirts. If I had to label myself for a style, I guess I would have to align with the country, “Daisy dukes” look. I am not implying I am wearing those teeny shorts, but I love: daisy patterns, denim shorts, crop tops, belts, and shirts that tie in the front, and the recent bandana trend. Anything that appears like I’m not trying too hard is probably my favorite style at the moment, or just has that “young country” feel–which is a little bizarre considering the fact I actually don’t listen to country music whatsoever. Alas, that is the style I’ve been gravitating towards the most lately, but I still manage to love the boho, grunge, modern, and high-end looks in addition to my new found love for this “young country” style.
