My name is Mallory, I’m a second-year Advertising student, and I have an affinity for all things fashion! My love of fashion all began in high school where I embraced being different, and I didn’t want to “blend in” with the student body. My ultimate dream job was to be an art director for a fashion magazine, or to become a personal stylist for celebrities. Although I went against attending art school to come to SJSU, I still hope to incorporate my love of fashion in advertising. The beauty behind fashion and advertising is that they are all about aesthetics. Without an eye-catching advertisement, most products would go unnoticed. Without an interesting outfit, you lose the opportunity to showcase your personality and the ability to differentiate yourself from everyone else. Both advertisements and fashion have the ability to be powerful and make big statements. If there’s one word to describe my personality it would be “bold” , and I hope that carries out in the outfits I enjoy wearing. Although I dearly love my sweatpants and yoga pants for my early classes, I will always look forward to the moments I can dress up and show my unique style with the world.
