With scarves being an accessory often associated with winter or fall, who’s to say they also can’t be worn in warmer weather? With coronavirus scaring people into their houses, and trying to stay warm from this current Bay Area rain–scarves are still acceptable to wear both in the house and outside. In this post, I’m going to share my favorite scarves for this season.
The first scarf is the Gucci GG scarf with the strawberry print. This scarf has that luxury element, coupled with the summery look of fresh fruit that’s popular when the weather gets warm. Additionally, the pink border gives it that additional pop of color that really makes the scarf stand out. If the strawberries weren’t the first thing to grab a viewer’s attention, its the pretty pink boarder! Additionally, I do not see this style dying anytime soon due to it being a Gucci classic! This scarf costs $495 but I believe this is a beautiful addition to any luxury fashion collection and can jazz up any outfit! Did I mention there’s an ongoing trend of turning these into strapless tops? This would make the ultimate luxurious, trendy top.
The second scarf that I really like is any of the iconic Burberry scarves with their flannel pattern. Obviously their cashmere might be a little too warm for right now, but their “gauze” edition would provide just enough warmth without overheating your neck. The material is slightly see-through but elegant, and ultimately jazzes up any boring outfit, especially if you’re needing to dress business casual or just need something to make an outfit look a little more luxurious. Everyone will recognize that your scarf is Burberry, ultimately making it a cool piece to be recognized with wearing.
The last scarf that I really like is Hermes Lex Tigreaux scarf. This bright orange scarf has two tigers on it, and is the biggest, bold statement! Not to mention, its not an obvious luxury brand piece! It has the potential to make any outfit stand out with the vivid color, and the tiger makes it even more fierce and eye-catching! Believe it or not, this scarf is only $195 for Hermes, and the tigers appear more like cubs than an intimidating animal–ultimately making it seem a little mature but innocent at the same time! These tigers almost remind me of a sophisticated version of something Lisa Frank would create with her animal designs, and really makes this scarf very interesting to look at. For styling it, I would highly recommend a basic knot to at least show off one of the adorable tigers on this print.
All in all, scarves can be worn any time of year! I believe that if there’s one thing I would love to splurge on in fashion, it would have to be accessories as they can sometimes be the first thing people’s eyes gravitate towards, whether that’s gold jewelry or a statement scarf like the ones I mentioned! I hope that I can one day add these scarves to my fashion collection, and that I too can celebrate my success with the money I make to appreciate these luxurious goods.
